can quickly increase motor flux to make high starting torque (a process called initial excitation).

, flux will develop very slowly.

the DC current level will be the DC Injection current set in

is set too high, DC Injection Braking at start will make a loud audible noise. Adjust
b2-08
to decrease the volume to the
permitted level.

This function restarts a stopped PM motor. The drive short circuits all three motor phases to make braking torque
in the motor.
Set this parameter to 0.00 to disable the function.
Note:
•
Short circuit Braking will let external forces rotate the PM motor. Use DC Injection Braking to prevent motor rotation from external
forces.
•
Motor speed and load conditions can make it necessary to install a dynamic braking option on the drive.
