Parameters on the left side define the activity of the local gateway. The
parameters on the right side define the activity of the remote gateway.

Define the following parameters:

Link Name
Enter the gateway link name; it is advised to
associate the name with the call type.
Link ID
Enter the H.323
Link ID
number. The endpoint will
call the link and connect to the Double/Multiple
gateway during call setup.
Link DID
This field is disabled if no dial-in numbers were
defined in the H.320 Routing Services table.
Enter the H.320
Link DID
number. The endpoint will
call the link in order to connect to the Double/Multiple
gateway (This number is retrieved from the H.320
Routing Services table where it is defined as the Dial-
in number).
Local GW Session
Profile Name
Select from the drop-down list the Session Profile to
use. The available Session Profiles depend on the
Connection Type to Remote GW
selection.
Connection Type to
Remote GW
Define the connection type (backbone) of the remote
gateway, either H.320 or H.323.
H.320
- Selects H.320 as the network connection
protocol for linking to the remote gateway. Possible
connection methods include:

H.323 Destinations
•
Address Book
•
Forwarding Service
H.323
- Selects H.323 as the network connection
protocol for linking to the remote gateway. Possible
connection methods include:

Address Book
•
Profile
Remote GW Name
Select from the
Remote GW Name
list the name of
the Remote Gateway.
