Press the

key to select the alternative option.
If you try to set a reserved polling transmission
operation without first storing the polling identifiers,
the message “POLLING ID” will appear on the first
line and “NOT PROGRAMMED” on the second line.
The facsimile machine will then return to the POLLING
TRANSMISSION menu functions.
4.
Press SET/CONF . to confirm the option selected and
set the facsimile machine for transmission or move
straight on to step 5 to set a polling transmission from
the memory.
Having pressed SET/CONF ., the message “POL-
LING ACTIVE” appears on the first line of the display
to indicate that a polling transmission operation has
been set and that the document is present in the ADF.
If this message blinks, this means that the document
has been removed from the ADF, so remember to
reinsert it.
If the ADF is already being used in other transmission
operations, (delayed transmission), the message “ADF
ALREADY ACTV” will appear on the display for a few
seconds. If this is the case, only polling transmission
from the memory is allowed.
5.
Press 1.
The message “STORING” appears on the display
while the document is being stored.
Once the document has been stored, the message
“COMPLETED” appears on the first line of the display
for a few seconds and the message “PG:XX DOC. R.:
XXXX appears on the second line. The latter message
provides you with reference data that you may require
for document deletion or transmission cancellation
operations, i.e. the number of pages and the document
reference number.
6.
Enter the number of correspondents to whom you
want to send the document (maximum 10, for example,
05). The facsimile machine will transmit the same
document to the remote terminals that request
transmission and that have the correct polling identifier.
7.
Press SET/CONF. to confirm the setting and end the
procedure.
If the “LAST RX REPORT” parameter was enabled in
the operating configuration, the facsimile machine
will print the report, for each correspondent, at the end
of transmission.
