Marker Editing (Partial Editing by Designating an Area with the Highlight Markers)
L
Encircled Designation
A region bordered by highlight marker is recognized as an area.
Any number of bordered areas can be designated on one original. There
are two methods for making Encircled Area Designations.
N
Entire Enclosed
The entire region enclosed by the highlight marker is recognized as an
area.
N
Enclosed Area
The image within the region enclosed by the highlight marker is
recognized as an area.
P
If there is a smudged line inside the area, the
smudge may sometimes be incorrectly recognized
as an area.
N
Notes when making an Encircled Designation
N
When encircling an area with a highlight marker, make sure that
there are no gaps in the border. If there are any gaps, the bordered
region will not be recognized as an area.
