Special Effects (Reduced Gradation and Solarisation)
There are two Special Effects functions.

Reduced Gradation:
Reduces the number of gradations in the original
when making a copy.
N
Solarisation:
Reverses colors in the middle of gradations when
making a copy.

settings, see p. 2-4 of chapter 2 “Basic Copying” in
the Basic Operations Manual.
1.
Press the
Image
Creation
key.
P
If the C key is pressed, the screen returns to
the standard display.
2.
Select the SPECIAL EFFECTS key.
P
If the C key is pressed, the screen returns to
the display in step 1.
3.
Specify the type of Special Effects.
There are two types of special effects.

Setting reduced gradation
N
Setting solarisation
N

1. Press either the
O
key or the
P
key to specify the gradation level.
