Area Designation (Using the Edit Pen)

Non-rectangular Area Designation
The Non-rectangular Area Designation method differs depending on the
type of non-rectangular selected area.

“Polygon”, “Free”, and “Tracing” can not be
specified past Area Processing [16].
Designate an area using the edit pen.

Designating a circle
Use the edit pen to enter the center of the circle, then enter one point on
the circumference of the circle.

If the OK key is pressed, the Non-rectangular
Area Designation process is completed.

Designating an ellipse
Use the edit pen to enter two of the opposing corners of the rectangle
that define the ellipse.

Designating an oval
Use the edit pen to enter two of the opposing corners of the largest
rectangle that the oval can hold.

Designating a rounded rectangle
Use the edit pen to enter two of the opposing corners of the largest
rectangle that the rounded rectangle can hold.
