Smoke and/or odours are generated
from ShieldPRO.
ShieldPRO too hot to touch.
ShieldPRO is making unusual noises.
A visible problem appears on
ShieldPRO or a cable connected to
ShieldPRO.
Action
Turn off the power immediately. Unplug the AC
cord from the AC outlet, disconnect the AC
adapter from ShieldPRO and remove the battery
from ShieldPRO. Contact your ShieldPRO
supplier.

The HDD is making noises.
Action
While accessing the HDD, small noises may be
heard in synchronisation with blinking of the file
access lamp. This is caused by operations in the
HDD and does not indicate an error.
For other noises, take the action described in 1
above.
