(3) Notes on re-installation
Do not connect or add peripherals including printers or memory devices (CD Drive excluded).
Any peripherals including printers and extended memory devices should never be
connected to ShieldPRO while the re-installation is being performed. If these peripherals
are purchased concurrently with ShieldPRO, first complete the re-installation of Windows
XP then connect and install the peripherals according to the peripherals’ user’s guides.
Do not turn off the power during the re-installation.
During re-installation, ensure the ShieldPRO is powered by the mains connection. Do not
turn off the power in the middle of the re-installation. Setting the power switch to OFF or
disconnecting the power cable in the middle of the setup may cause a fault to occur.
If the screen seems to freeze, the setup program may still be in operation. This does not indicate
that the system is defective. Continue the operation.
