Area Connection element.

Deletion procedure
1. Start Windows.
2. Click [Start]
[Control Panel]
[System]
[Hardware]
[Device Manager].
3. Double-click on [Agere Systems Ethernet Controller] under the [Network Adaptors].
4. Select the Driver tab in the Properties window.
5. Select
Uninstall
button and press
OK
to delete the driver.
6. When the uninstallation is complete, reboot ShieldPRO.

Wireless LAN Drivers
The Wireless LAN drivers for the ShieldPRO are provided in the Drivers CD that is supplied with the
product. These drivers are preloaded with your factory supplied ShieldPRO.
In the case where the [Start]
[Control Panel]
[Network Connection] screen does not contain a
Wireless Network Connection, then the drivers must be reloaded.
In the case where Windows is re-installed on your ShieldPRO, these drivers must be reloaded.

Installation procedure
1. Start ShieldPRO.
2. Right click [Start]
[Explore].
3. Navigate to C:\WINXP\DRV\WirelessLAN.
4. Double click on the file
V11.1.1.0_XP32.exe
application.
5. At the [Intel PROSet/Wireless Installer] screen, select “I accept the terms in the agreement”
and press
Next
.
6. Select a “Typical” setup type and press
Next
