Loading a Document

Place a document face down
in the Document Feed Tray.
Note: Refer to the
Specifications for
appropriate paper size and
type.
Note: For consistent
feeding, do not use the
following types of originals:
•
Torn, wrinkled or curled
paper
•
Coated paper
•
Thin or transparent paper
•
Film copies of document
•
Thicker than a postcard
•
Originals of cloth

Adjust the document Side
Guides to fit your original.

Enter the telephone number
for another fax unit.

Press the Start key.
5
Check to make sure the
transmission was successful.
6
If the transmission was
successful, you are now
ready to do the remainder of the programming.

If the transmission was not successful, refer to the Troubleshooting Chapter
or place a service call with your Service Representative.
