4-80  Configuring Your Server

Configure SPAN

The following explains the sample procedure to configure RAID10 (spanning of RAID1) with four
Hard Disk Drives.

IMPORTANT:

 Do not attempt to configure RAID00 or RAID60.

They are not supported.

 

1. 

Click [Configuration Wizard] on WebBIOS Top Menu to start Wizard.

 

2. 

While pressing 

Ctrl

, click the Hard Disk Drives to be included in DG.

(In the example, two DGs will be configured and spanned.)

 

3. 

Upon completion of selection, click [Add to Array] at the lower left of the screen. After
making sure that the new DG has been defined in Drive Groups frame to the right, click
[Accept DG].
