For external clock supply, input it to XT1 and its inverted signal to XT2.

4.2.17  IC (Mask ROM versions only)

The IC (Internally Connected) pin sets a test mode in which the

PD78011BY, 78012BY, 78013Y and 78014Y

are tested before shipment.  In normal operation mode, connect the IC pin directly to V

SS

 with as short a wiring length

as possible.

If there is a potential difference between the IC and V

SS

 pins because the wiring length between the IC and V

SS

pin is too long, or external noise is superimposed on the IC pin, your program may not run correctly.
