Naming Groups & Sounds
Each Sound automatically gets the name of the Sample loaded into it; if there is no Sample,
the name will be Sound 1-16 by default. Sounds are also automatically renamed if their
Source tab is set to Input or MIDI Out: they're renamed to "Input 1-16" and "MIDI Out", re-
spectively.
1.
To name a Sound, double-click on its Sound slot.
2.
You can now edit the name of that Sound. Press the [Enter] key on your computer key-
board to confirm.
Some hosts will catch the [Enter] key, as it is mapped to some function of the host software.
In this case, click anywhere else in the MASCHINE plug-in window to confirm the name you
have entered.
Group renaming is performed accordingly: double-click on the Group slot to edit the name of
the Group. To confirm, press the [Enter] key on your computer keyboard.
