The Aler t symbol appears in the upper right corner if you make a database change; one in which a change
is made to the Gateway’s configuration. The Aler t ser ves as a reminder that you must
Save
the changes
and
Restart
the Gateway before the change will take effect. You can make many changes on various
pages, and even leave the browser for up to 5 minutes, but if the Gateway is restar ted before the changes
are applied, they will be lost. When you click on the Aler t symbol, the Save Changes page appears. Here
you can select various options to save or discard these changes.
If more than one Aler t is triggered, you will need to take action to clear the first Aler t before you can see the
second Aler t.
