PPPoE Quickstart
For a PPPoE connection, your browser will display a different series of web pages:
The browser then displays the Quickstar t web page.

Enter the username and password supplied by your Internet Service Provider. Click the
Connect to the Internet
button.
Once you enter your username and password here, you will no longer need to enter them whenever you
access the Internet. The Motorola Netopia® Gateway stores this information and automatically connects
you to the Internet.
The Gateway displays a message while it configures itself.
4.
When the connection succeeds, your browser will display a success message.
Once a connection is established, your browser is redirected to your ser vice provider’s home page or a
registration page on the Internet.

Congratulations! Your installation is complete. You can now surf to your favorite Web
sites by typing an URL in your browser’s location box or by selecting one of your favor-
ite Internet bookmarks.
