5.3.5 Ethernet Connection
5.3.5.1 IP Settings Basic Unit
Ethernet interface settings of the CSP2008 Universal Controller.
Address type Static IP Use of a fixed IP address
DHCP Dynamic IP address. Automatic integration of
a new computer in an existing network without
configuring it manually. A dynamic LinkLocal ad-
dress is also possible as an alternative.
IP-Adresse CSP Value Setting a fixed IP address.
Gateway Value Setting of a gateway
Subnet mask Value Setting of the subnet mask.
Media type automatic detection /
100 Mbit/s half duplex /

5.3.5.2 Measured Value Server
Setting the IP address and the

for the connection to a measured value
server. The measured value server is the destination of the measured values and can be
a PC or PLC in the network. The PCs for the programming and the demonstration pro-
gram are not measured value servers.

You can write to a server yourself as a measured value server or use a module, e.g. in
ICONNECT or Labview.
The data transfer uses “Little Endian” as the data format. Here, the byte with the lowest
value bits (least significant bits) is saved first, i.e. at the smallest memory address. Fur-
ther information about the data format, see Chap.
5.7.2 .

5.3.6.1 Terminal Block Synchronization/ Triggering

trigger.

5.3.6.2 Terminal Block Zero
Active High / Low Level selection for the zeroing input; this is used
as the digital input in the calculation block “Mas-
tering” and “Statistics”
Set zero duration in ms Value 1 … 60000
Reset duration in ms Value 10 … 60000
Set zero / Reset Button activates the zeroing or reset.
