5.3.9.2 Sensor Connections
The connected sensors are set on serial data output and no averaging by switching on the controller, regardless of
the previous sensor settings. Sensors, which are connected to an EtherCAT extension terminal,
2-port EtherCAT junc-
tion (EK1122) or to the EtherCAT connector on CSP2008, can only be parameterized, if the EtherCAT bus is released
for a sensor configuration, see Chap.
5.3.8 .

Selection of the measuring rate of the con-
nected sensor from a list. The measuring rate
depends on the sensor type. The measuring
rates for the ILD 1402, ILD1420, ILD 2300 and
ILD 1700 can be programmed. Selected values
are confirmed by the “Select” command and
immediately transmitted to the sensor. The
“speed” LED at the sensor is also changed ac-
cordingly for the ILD 1700. The measuring rates
for the ILD 22xx and ODC 2500 / ODC 2520 /
ODC 2600 are fixed. The “Select measuring
speed” parameter is not present for these
types.
