Operation
CSP2008
5.3.11.1
Display
Only analog measured or calculated values are permitted. The display values can be
arithmetically averaged with up to 65535 values for a steady display.
You can change the measuring unit and the number of decimal places in the menus
Country settings
and
Display settings.
5.3.11.2
Ethernet
In the Ethernet menu item, you define maximum six calculation blocks whose results can
be output as digital values via Ethernet and thus, for example, can be displayed in the
demonstration window (
Measurement)of
the Web interface.
More information about data output via Ethernet, e.g. data format, see Chap.
5.3.5.1
, see

.
The Ethernet interface is used for the software update on the CSP2008 also, see Chap.

5.3.11.3
Analog CSP2008
In the Analog menu item, you define which results of the sensor measured values or of
the calculation blocks will be output at the two analog terminals. This also includes the
selection of output type (current or voltage).
The specification of minimum and maximum measured values or calculation result is still
required for the analog outputs.
The measured value (calculation result) to be output is automatically scaled for the 16-bit
output in the CSP2008.

Fig. 42 Characteristic for an analog output with 4 ... 20 mA
The analog output value is produced according to the formula:
Analog value =
* Output range + Min. analog value
Measured value - Min. output value
Max. output value - Min. output value
Example: Current output with 4 ... 20 mA, Min. Output Value = -50,
Max. Output Value = +100, Measured Value = 45;
thus output range = 16 mA, Min. Analog Value = 4 mA
Analog value =
* 16 mA + 4 mA = 14.13 mA
45 - (-50)
100 - (-50)
Error handling
Error values directly from the sensor or errors which occur during the calculation in the
controller can be selected for each analog output and output at the analog outputs.
Variants:
-
keep last value
-
output minimum/maximum value
