Pay attention to careful handling during the installation and operation. The
CSP2008 must be installed when disconnected from the power supply.
4.1 Mounting Controller
Attach the controller to a DIN rail, Type TS35.
Observe the minimum bending radii of the connection cables.

Move the slider on the bottom side of the controller down to remove the controller from
the DIN rail.
4.2 General Rules for the Installation
- Connect cable shields with the equipotential bonding (PE, earth conductor) on the
evaluation unit (switch cabinet, PC case) and prevent earth loops.
- Never lay signal cables next to or together with power cables or pulse-loaded cables
(e.g. for drive units and solenoid valves) in a bundle or in cable ducts. Always use
separate ducts.
4.3 Pin Assignment
4.3.1 Terminal Strips
The two plug-in terminal strips (FMC 1.5/13-STF-3.5, see Fig. 7 ) are designed for a wire
cross section of 0.25 mm² to 1.5 mm². The terminal strips are mounted on the controller
with two screws and can be removed for the wiring or a fast controller change.
