LPG MAP Sensor Inspection
1) Relieve fuel pressure in LPG fuel line.
2) Disconnect fuel hose between LPG fuel delivery pipe
and LPG fuel pressure regulator.
3) Install pressure gauge between LPG fuel pressure
regulator and LPG fuel delivery pipe, referring to
“Fuel Pressure Basic Check”: LPG in Section 1G.
4) Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1).
Special tool
(A): SUZUKI scan tool (SUZUKI-SDT)
5) Turn ignition switch to ON position and select “LPG
Pressure” under “Data List” mode on scan tool.
Check LPG pressure displayed on scan tool.
6) Check that fuel pressure on pressure gauge and
“LPG Pressure” on SUZUKI scan tool are similarly
decreased, when fuel pressure is relieved. If check
result not satisfactory, replace LPG MAP and
temperature sensor.
