Rear Suspension: 2C-2

4) Jack up rear axle at trailing arm ends with floor jacks

(1) and install rear shock absorbers to rear axle, then
tighten new upper bolts and new lower nuts
temporarily by hand.

NOTE
Before jack working, place shop cloth on top
of the jack to protect paint surface of the
lifted portion from damaging.

5) Remove floor jacks from rear axle.
6) Install rear wheel and tighten wheel nuts to specified

torque.

7) Lower hoist and bounce vehicle up and down

several times to stabilize suspension.

8) Tighten rear shock absorber upper bolts and lower

nuts to specified torque.
