1D-8 Engine Mechanical:
10) Remove air cleaner assembly. )
11) Remove front bumper. )
12) Remove right side engine under cover.
13) Disconnect the following electric wires and
connectors.
• ECM connector (1)
• Ground cable (2)
• Ground terminal (3) from exhaust manifold
• Connectors (4) in battery positive terminal
• Connector (5) in relay box
• A/C compressor magnet clutch connector (6)
• LPG control module (7) (for bi-fuel LPG model)
14) Disconnect the following hoses.
• Brake booster hose (8)
• Radiator inlet and outlet hose (9)
• Heater inlet and outlet hoses (10)
• Petrol fuel hose (11)
15) Remove engine harness clamps.
16) With A/C hoses connected, remove A/C compressor
from its bracket.

CAUTION
!
Hold removed A/C compressor at a place
where no damage will be caused during
removal and installation of engine assembly.
17) Remove clutch cable from clutch release arm. )
18) Disconnect gear shift control cable from transaxle. )
19) Remove exhaust pipe.
)
20) Disconnect steering lower shaft from pinion shaft. )
21) Remove front brake discs and calipers. )
22) Remove front strut bracket bolts and nuts. )
23) Remove front wheel speed sensors (if equipped).
)
24) Support front suspension frame (1), transaxle left
and right case (2) and cylinder block (3) using jack.
25) Remove front suspension frame bolts (4).
