Engine General Information and Diagnosis: Bi-Fuel LPG model 1A-58

Wiring Diagram

Refer to “DTC P0005 / P0007”: Bi-Fuel LPG model.

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Turn ignition switch to ON position and keep it for 10 sec.

LPG model.

LPG valve control relay ground circuit check

1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then remove

LPG valve control relay.

2) Check for proper terminal connection to LPG valve

control relay connector.

3) If connection is OK, measure resistance between LPG

valve control relay ground circuit (C1) and vehicle body
ground.

Is resistance 1

Ω

or less?

Go to Step 3.

Repair or replace LPG
valve control relay
ground circuit.

LPG valve control relay drive circuit check

1) Disconnect connectors from LPG control module.
2) Check for proper terminal connection to LPG control

module connectors.

3) If connections are OK, check that LPG valve control

relay drive circuit (B1) is as follows.
• Wiring harness resistance of LPG valve control relay

drive circuit is less than 1

Ω

• Insulation resistance of LPG valve control relay drive

circuit between LPG valve control relay connector and
vehicle body ground is infinity.

• Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity

between LPG valve control relay drive circuit terminal
and each terminal at LPG valve control relay
connector.

• Voltage of LPG valve control relay drive circuit is 0 – 1

V with ignition switch in ON position.

Are they in good condition?

Go to Step 4.

Repair or replace LPG
valve control relay drive
circuit.

LPG valve control relay check

1) Check LPG valve control relay. Refer to “Control Relay

Inspection: “in related service manual mentioned in
foreword.

Is it in good condition?

Substitute a known-
good LPG control
module and recheck.

Replace LPG valve
control relay.
