Engine General Information and Diagnosis: Bi-Fuel LPG model 1A-50

2) Operate fuel select switch and select “Forced LPG MODE”.
3) Keep it for 10 sec.
4) Select “Petrol MODE”.
5) Keep it for 10 sec.

DTC check

Is there DTC P2665 and/or P2667?

Go to Step 3.

Go to Step 7.

LPG valve control relay power supply circuit (switch
side) check

1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then remove

LPG valve control relay.

2) Check for proper terminal connection to LPG valve

control relay connector.

3) If connection is OK, turn ignition switch to ON position

and then check that voltage between LPG valve control
relay power supply circuit (switch side) (A1) and vehicle
body ground is battery voltage.

Is it in good condition?

Go to Step 5.

Go to Step 4.

Fuse check

1) Turn OFF ignition switch.
2) Check if “LPG RLY” fuse in relay block is blown.

Is “LPG RLY” fuse in good condition?

Repair or replace
defective wire harness.

Check that LPG valve
control relay power
supply circuit (switch
side) is shorted to
ground. If OK, replace
“LPG RLY” fuse.

LPG valve control relay check

1) Check LPG valve control relay. Refer to “Control Relay

Inspection: “in related service manual mentioned in
foreword.

Is it in good condition?

Go to Step 6.

Replace LPG valve
control relay.

Shut off valve power supply circuit check

1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then disconnect

connectors from shut off valve of LPG pressure regulator
and shut off valve of LPG tank valve.

2) Check for proper terminal connection to shut off valve of

LPG pressure regulator and shut off valve of LPG tank
valve connectors.

3) If connections are OK, measure resistance between shut

off valve of LPG pressure regulator power supply circuit
(A3) and vehicle body ground.

Is resistance infinity?

Go to Step 7.

Shut off valve of LPG
pressure regulator
power supply circuit
and/or shut off valve of
LPG tank valve power
supply circuit are
shorted to ground.
