Fuel System: LPG 1G-14
Installation
Reverse removal procedure for installation noting the
following.
• Check LPG fuel filter (3) for evidence of dirt and
contamination.
If the filter is faulty, replace LPG fuel filter.
• Use new O-rings (1).
• Wipe off the accumulated oil in LPG fuel filter lower
case completely.
• Tighten LPG fuel filter lower case (2) to specified
torque.
Tightening torque
LPG fuel filter lower case (a): 8.0 N·m (0.82 kgf-
m, 6.0 lbf-ft)
• Make sure that arrow mark (1) on the LPG fuel filter
(2) is pointed as shown in figure.
• Check for LPG fuel leaks. )
Fuel Injector On-Vehicle Inspection

LPG System
1) Remove air cleaner assembly. )
2) Turn ignition switch to ON position and select
“Forced LPG MODE” with selector switch.
3) Using sound scope (1) or the like, check operating
sound of LPG fuel injector (2) when engine is
running or cranking. Cycle of operating sound should
vary according to engine speed.
If no sound or unusual sound is heard, check LPG
fuel injector circuit or LPG fuel injector.
Fuel Injector Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Relieve LPG pressure in LPG fuel feed line. )
2) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
3) Remove air cleaner assembly.
)
4) Disconnect LPG fuel injector hoses (1) from LPG
fuel injectors (3).
5) Disconnect LPG MAP and temperature sensor
connector (2).
6) Remove LPG fuel injector assembly bolts (4) and
then move LPG fuel injector assembly as shown in
figure.
