Fuel System: LPG 1G-22

LPG Filler Valve On-Vehicle Inspection

AENAR90A1706028

• Check LPG Filler Valve for cracks, deformation or 

damage.
If any faulty condition is found, replace LPG Filler 
Valve.

• Check O-ring for cracks, deformation or damage.

If any faulty condition is found, replace O-ring.

• Check LPG filler valve for LPG fuel leakage. If faulty 

condition is found, replace LPG filler valve.

LPG Filler Valve Removal and Installation

AENAR90A1706029

Removal

1) Relieve LPG pressure in LPG fuel feed line. 

)

2) Disconnect vent hose (1).
3) Disconnect LPG Filler Valve pipe (2) from LPG tank 

valve (3).

4) Remove LPG Filler Valve screws (1) followed by 

LPG Filler Valve assembly (2) from vehicle.

5) Remove Vent hose connector (2), Protection tube, 

LPG joint (3) and LPG pipe clamp (4), LPG filler pipe 
No. 1 and LPG filler pipe No.2.

Installation

1) Install LPG Filler Valve by reversing the removal 

procedure.

2) Install new O-rings to LPG filler pipes.
3) Install LPG joint to specified torque.

Tightening torque
LPG joint (a):  13 N·m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 lbf-ft)

4) Check LPG fuel leakage.

5) Open manual valve of LPG tank valve.

Installation

1) Close LPG tank manual valve of LPG tank valve.
2) Remove LPG receptacle O-ring (1) using flat-head 

rod or the like (2).
