Attaching R2 Series Rotary Disc Header
Follow the procedures below to safely attach the R216 Rotary Disc Header to an M155
E4
Self-Propelled Windrower. The
procedures differ somewhat depending on whether or not the windrower is equipped with a self-aligning hydraulic
center-link.
NOTE:
To use an R216 Rotary Disc Header with an M155
E4
Self-Propelled Windrower, the following kits must be installed first:

Disc drive kit (MD #B4657)
•

hydraulic drive kit (MD #B7310)

Alignment
The M155
E4
Self-Propelled Windrower may be equipped with an optional self-aligning hydraulic center-link, which allows
the Operator to control the vertical position of the center-link from the cab. This simplifies the process of attaching the
R216 Rotary Disc Header to the windrower.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator
’
s seat for any reason.
1.
Shut down the engine, and remove the key from
the ignition.

Remove hairpin (A) from clevis pin (B), and remove the pin
from header support (C).
3.
Repeat the previous step on the other side of the header.
