32. Install the proper shimming, item 105, on the last
disc, the thickest shim towards the brake piston.
See Figure 3-59.

Minimize the number of shims of thickness .0079”
(.2mm).
33. Reinstall the brake piston, item 107, and the spring
washer, item 108. See Figure 3-60.
34. Apply the compressive force of 15740 lbs (70000N)
to install the snap ring, item 109 and release the
compressive force. See Figure 3-61.
35. Supply the pressure to the brake piston again to
check the piston stroke. See Figure 3-56.
36. Install a new O-ring, item 143, coated with
antioxidizing grease (Mobil KHP 222 or equivalent) in
it’s grove. See Figure 3-62.
37. Install a new cover, item 141, on the entry chamfer.
38. Click it into place using the corresponding mandrel,
P/N 155304. See Figure 3-64.
