Apply 2-3 pumps of the recommended grease to the
top and bottom ports. (See “Lubrication
Specifications” on page 1-17.)
4. Turn the mast fully to the left and apply 2-3 more
pumps.
5.
Repeat as necessary until the grease begins to
escape from the relief fittings on the top and bottom
(top area shown).

Mast Mounting Pins

Start the forklift and turn the mast straight forward, to
the normal carry position.
3. Tilt fully forward.
4.
Set the key switch to “OFF” and remove the key.
5.
Slide a rag or piece of cardboard under the mast in
the area of the mounting pins to prevent oil from
dripping onto the floor.
6.
Reach in between that mast and the front end plate
and apply grease to the two grease fittings in the
lower mast mount. An extension to the grease gun
may be required
.
7. Wipe off any excess grease.

Forks and Side Shifter

Start the forklift and position the mast straight ahead.
3.
Set the key switch to “OFF” and remove the key.
4.
Before lubricating the rails, wipe off any excess
lubricant and dirt buildup from within the rail
channels.
5.
Grease the two rail fittings across the top of the
carriage rail until fresh grease is seen.
6. Wipe off any excess grease.

Start the forklift and position the mast straight ahead.
3.
Set the key switch to “OFF” and remove the key from
the ignition switch.
Be cautious when turning the mast back and
forth. Make sure that all personnel and
obstuctions are out of the way. Something may
become trapped between the mast and the body
of the forklift, resulting in damage, injury or
death.
