NOTICE
Whenever CO control malfunctions, you can switch smoothly to O
2
trim. That means you have
to set and activate both CO control and O
2
trim (see Chapters
8.9.1 Activating CO/O2 Control
).
You need access level 1 for this purpose.
Factory setting:
CO control is an adaptive optimisation of the electronic ratio control. Control parameters and
setpoint values do not have to be set.

Activating CO/O2 Control
Activate CO/O
2
trim with User Interface (UI400), see chapter
Setting the Correction Range and the Spread Factor
Activate CO/O
2
trim with CMS Remote Software, see chapter

Access Levels
The parameters are subdivided into four different access levels depending on their function or
security classification:
Operating level (level 0)
No password required. Parameters which are not security-related and that can be changed
during operation.
Commissioning level (level 1)
Accessible using a password which can be changed. Access to parameters which require spe-
cialist knowledge, are set for the specific system and cannot be changed during operation.
Factory setting = 0000
Service level (level 2)
Accessible with a fixed password but only to personnel specifically trained in parameter as-
signment. Access to all parameters which are not set on the basis of standards and technical
rules.
Password = customer-specific (if necessary ask the supplier/manufacturer of the burner soft-
ware; LAMTEC identification code for customers is required).
Production level (level 4)
Access to all parameters (by LAMTEC only).
NOTICE
Each parameter level is protected by means of a separate checksum. We recommend that
you note these checksums on completion of commissioning. They serve as proof that no
changes have been made. Alternatively, back up the data set.
