Operation, Controls and Display with CMS Remote Software
7.3.1
Remote Software
The CMS Remote Software visualises parameter and curve data from the devices on the
LAMTEC SYSTEM BUS (LSB). The software is used to edit and store values.
Once a connection is established, the current data from the device can be accessed. Special
screens can then be used to change individual parameters, delete curves or program curve
set points.
The current state of the CMS, which is determined by the parameter settings and curve data,
can be stored as a dataset on the PC (as a backup). These dataset backups can also be load-
ed back into the CMS at a later point in time in order to restore a specific CMS state.
The previous pages have described the most important activities that can be completed using
the CMS Remote Software. The following chapters describe the menu paths in the CMS Re-
mote Software with their corresponding windows. Windows already described in the previous
chapters are only given a reference back to the corresponding chapter.
