MAINTENANCE

TURN OFF all power source switches. 

(9)  Remove three nuts securing the compressor and remove the compressor.

NOTES:
1.  When removing the compressor, be aware that it does not come in contact with surrounding pipes.  

If contacted, pipes may become deformed.

2.  Be aware of potential injuries from sheet metal edges when working with sheet metal.
3.  When removing the compressor secured with the oil discharge pipe, seal the pipe ends with tape to 

avoid spilling any remaining refrigerant oil spill.

After removing the compressor, mount the new one quickly.

5.  When removing the compressor, remove the electrical box and transformer box (460V only) located 

above the compressor to make the work easier.  The box wrench (13/32 inch (10mm)) is required 
to remove the nuts securing the compressor.
