PS200 - Basic Wiring
Instruments Powered By PumpSmart
Expose the shield of
the control wire
cable and slide a
conductive clamp
onto the cable.
Connect clamp to
the grounding lugs
JUMPERS
When PumpSmart is powering a process transmitter, The power supply ground
must be connected to the negative terminal (-) of each transmitter. Rather than
run separate wires from the ground connection [X23-2], use smaller "jumpers".
Jumper size: 16-20 Guage
Jumper
Example: Pressure Control
Application w/ Vibration Tx

!! NOTE !!
All instrumentation shielding must
be terminated at grounding lugs
provided by the PS200. Do not
terminate Shielding at sensor end.
!! NOTE !!
DIIL Must be closed for the drive to
operate. If your application does not
require an E-Stop/Drive Permissive, DIIL
may be bypassed by jumping DIIL to X22
connections #7 or #8
