9.6.1 

Disassembly of legrests 

• 

Detach calf strap (12) from insertion tubes (6). 

• 

Hold footplate (7) by its left side and fold upward until it is released from the left insertion 
tube (6). 

• 

Release legrest lock and lift legrest from the hinge bolt at the vehicle. 

• 

Loosen cap nut (4), and pull the upper part of the legrest (13) out of the insertion tube (6). 

• 

Loosen clamp (2) and detach from the upper part of the legrest (13). 

• 

Loosen self-tapping screw (10) completely and pull the insertion tube (6) out of the footplate 
(7).

• 

Remove leaf spring (9) out of the footplate (7). 

• 

If necessary, pull off slider (11) and caps (5) from the insertion tube (6). 

9.6.2 

Reassembly of legrests 

Reassembly takes place in the reverse order. 

• 

Observe part orientation while reassembling (left-hand /
right-hand side). 

• 

Insert leaf spring correctly. 

• 

Adjust legrests to identical length .
