15.3 Disassemble / check headlight

15.3.1 Disassembly of headlights
•
Loosen tapping screw (2) and remove headlight glass (1).
•
Pull the bulb socket (3) out of the headlight glass (1).
•
Screw light bulb (4) out of the bulb socket (3).
15.3.2 Checking the headlights
•
Check using the Multimeter the voltage located
between the contact (7) of the headlight housing (+
terminal) and the black cable (- terminal) at the bulb
socket (8).
Voltage U at:
6 km/h wheelchair
U = 24 V
10 km/h wheelchair (abroad)
U = 24 V
10 km/h wheelchair (Deutschland) U = 12 V
•
Insert new light bulb (4).
Type of bulb:
6 km/h wheelchair
= 24 V / 3 W
10 km/h wheelchair (abroad)
= 24 V / 3 W
10 km/h wheelchair (Deutschland) = 12 V / 2.4 W
Caution
:
•
Avoid bridging the poles whatever happens.
Danger of fire and combustion !
