12.5.2 Adjusting the disengaging mechanism
The disengaging mechanism is set up via twisting the motor clutch levers on the clutch rods (2,
6).
•
Prop up vehicle in order to relieve the drive wheels.
•
Loosen both regulating screws (8) so that the control levers (1) can rotate freely in the
motor clutch levers (9).
•
Bring shift lever (1) into a horizontal position.
•
Engage both motors via the clutch rods against the limit stop.
•
Tighten the regulating screws (8) again.
•
Test performance. See chapter 12.5.1.
12.5.3 Replacing the Star lock caps
•
Remove old Star lock caps
•
Fit the Star lock cap (2) into the Star lock
pliers (1), and position the pliers correctly
over the clutch rod and release lever (see
positions 1 and 2 or6 122).
•
Tighten pliers first by hand and then by
means of a ring spanner in such a way that
the cap (2) is completely pressed on.
•
Release Starlock pliers and detach.
