15.6.3  Disassembly of the direction indicators 

• 

Loosen tapping screw (8) completely and detach the direction indicator glass (16). 

• 

Press light bulb (18) down slightly, turn 1/8 rotation to the left and pull from its socket (11). 

• 

Loosen screw (9) and remove. 

• 

Turn the direction indicator housing (17) slightly left/right and carefully pull from the bulb 
holder (1) up to the point where the connection cable (4) becomes accessible. 

• 

Pull mirror with bulb socket (11) carefully from the direction indicator housing up to the 
point, where the connections at the bulb socket become accessible. 

• 

Mark connections, unsolder from the bulb socket and detach mirror with socket (11). 

• 

Pull connection cable (4) from the direction indicator housing (17) and detach housing. 

15.6.4  Reassembly of the direction indicators 

• 

Reassembly takes place in the reverse order. 

15.6.5  Disassembly of the bulb holder 

• 

Dismount headlight (3) completely. 

• 

Dismount direction indicator (2) completely. 

• 

Remove cable binder (10). 

• 

Loosen screw with washer (5) completely and detach together with bulb holder. 

• 

If necessary, remove washer and rubber grommet (6) from the chassis (12). 

15.6.6  Reassembly of the bulb holder 

• 

Reassembly takes place in the reverse order.
