Setting the setpoint
PROCEDURE
Go to the “Home” screen.
Tap on the keypad symbol next to “T
Setpoint
”.
Enter a new setpoint using the number keypad that appears.
The following must apply:
[Minimum setpoint limit] ≤ [Setpoint] ≤ [Maximum setpoint limit].
If these conditions are not met, a message will appear on the
>Touchscreen<
[88] and the entry
will be ignored. In this case, delete the value just entered either with the “Arrow” key or with the
“clear” key. Enter the setpoint again.
Confirm your entry by tapping on “OK”.
In the display that follows, confirm your entry again by tapping on “OK”.
The correct selection will be displayed graphically and the setpoint will be changed immediately.
If tapping on “OK” is not correct, this is displayed graphically for 2 seconds. After this, the display
will return to the “Home” screen again. Try changing the setpoint again.

Adjusting the cooling capacity
Set the release of the cooling water to temperatures > 95 °C and open the upstream cooling
water hand valve
SEVERE BURNS / SCALDING FROM ESCAPING HOT STEAM
Hot steam with a relatively high pressure can escape from the return line of the cooling water
connection according to the water pressure / water flow rate.
Only use suitable and temperature-stable hoses (e.g. reinforced hoses) and screw connections.
Use suitable measures (e.g. fixed pipes, fastening the hoses) to ensure that a water hammer in
the return line does not pose a risk.
Very hot water (95 °C > T > 60 °C) can still escape for some time after the vapor phase.
Refer to the datasheet from page 99 in Section
for the recommended water entry
temperature and the recommended water pressure.
No protection against corrosion
DAMAGE TO THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT
The addition of anti-corrosion agents is mandatory if salts (chlorides, bromide) have been
added to the water circuit.
Ensure that the materials used in the cooling water circuit are resistant with respect to the
cooling water. See the data sheet from page 99 in section
for information on the ma-
terials used.
Take suitable measures to maintain the warranty conditions.
For information about water quality, see www.huber-online.com.
Usage of un-filtered river/sea or ocean water as cooling water
DAMAGE TO THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT
Un-filtered river or sea water is not suitable for use as cooling water due to its contaminants.
Use drinking water or filtered river or sea water for cooling.
Sea water must not be used for water cooling.
For information about water quality, see www.huber-online.com.
The relatively high water temperatures (> 60 °C) may cause, depending on water quality, cal
cifica-
tion of the hoses / pipes (also internally). Take appropriate measures (e.g. regular descaling) to
prevent restrictions. Please read page 86, section
»Function check and visual inspection«
.
