Message:

UPM card shutdown due to thermal violation.

Severity:

Major.

Explanation:

An UPM card failed and was powered off because of excessive heat. This event

follows an indication that the hot temperature threshold was reached or exceeded

(event code 801).

Action:

Replace the failed UPM card with a functional UPM card of the same type. Perform

the data collection procedure and return the backup CD and faulty card to HP

support personnel.
