is attached to the rear of the server. 

Before converting a tower server to a rack server: 

1.  Power down the server ("Powering down the server" on page

2.  Remove the front bezel door, if necessary. 

3.  Remove the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 

30

). 

4.  Remove the feet. 

 

5.  Remove the tower configuration panel:
