RAID Manager command reference for Fast
Snap
Pair tasks using RAID Manager or Remote Web Console
You can use RAID Manager as well as Remote Web Console (RWC) to perform pair tasks. When you use
RAID Manager, perform tasks by running pair
xx
commands for pair tasks or RAID Manager commands.
Use RAID Manager commands to store a minimum of 65 snapshots, clone a minimum of 65 pairs, or use
a minimum of 64 MU numbers. Use the pair
xx
commands only for FS pairs with an MU number (0
through 63).
NOTE:
Do not use both pair
xx
commands and RAID Manager commands for a pair. For example, if you
create a pair using the paircreate command, do not store snapshot data using the
raidcom modify
snapshot -snapshot_data create
command.
The following table shows the pair tasks you can perform, the RAID Manager commands you can use to
perform the task, and the RWC wizard and windows from which to start the task.
