Problem
Causes and solutions
You cannot resynchronize
a suspended FS pair
("PSUE" status).
Causes:
• The FS pair cannot be defined because the pair entered the PSUE status while
being created.
• All the FS pairs under the P-VOL are in the PSUE status.
Solution:
1.
Delete the FS pairs related to the P-VOL (see
on
page 129).
2.
Create the FS pair (see
Creating Fast Snap pairs using Remote Web
on page 114).
The automatically adding
pool volumes function in a
capacity expansion-
enabled parity group does
not work.
Causes:
• The automatically adding pool volumes function for the pool is disabled.
• The automatically adding pool volumes function for the parity group is disabled.
• Available LDEV IDs are insufficient.
• Available cache management devices are insufficient.
• Maintenance work is still under way.
• Shared memory is insufficient.
Solution:
• Enable the automatically adding pool volumes function for the pool.
• After the pool failed to shrink, if the automatically adding pool volumes function
in a parity group is disabled, disable capacity expansion of the pool to be shrunk
first, and then enable capacity expansion of the pool again.
• Delete LDEVs that are not used.
• Stop the maintenance work.
• Delete pools that are not used.
• Delete V-VOLs that are not used.
• Delete all FS pairs that contain P-VOLs of unnecessary FS pairs.
