Running the Stability Test from the Web Interface
A Stability Test column on the IT test results
display (see picture above) shows PASS or FAIL
for each load sensor. We obtained the data by
running the IT test, as described above.
Stability test is also listed as an option on the
Operation - Diagnostics display. Select the
Stability Test hyperlink and wait a few seconds.
The results will not be
specific to each load
sensor, as in the IT test.
They will display an
average reading and
PASS/FAIL for the
system as a whole.
Running the Stability Test from the front panel
Step 1. From the Test menu, select Stability Test with use the down arrow and press Enter.
The HI 4050 runs the test and shows the results.
Step 2. To see the AD/Raw Count and the A/D Average
select them from the menu.
Step 3. Press Exit to return to the Test Menu.
Weight and Voltage Tests
The Weight and Voltage tests are used to diagnose a weighing system and, if certain types
of problems are indicated, determine their source. It provides the total scale input to the
instrument such as mV, mV/V and Weight in the units selected (i.e. lbs, kg, oz, g).
