The following table lists the COM Port settings.

With the exception of the COM Port Mode, the COM Port settings are read-only.

Selects the type of activity:
• Management,
• Metadata (required in order to configure
the Metadata settings), or
• Pass-Through (required to control serially
attached devices such as PTZ controlled
cameras).
NOTE:
You must reboot the encoder when
you change the Mode.
