3-3 Global Procedure for the FE to request the ROC to provide a license file or a dongle code.
All requests must be handled by the ROC in the requesting pole.
3-3-1 Job to be performed by the FE during a new installation or an upgrade

At installation time, the FE records the either dongle serial number or the MAC address in the
Service Manual,
u At installation time, or for every new option or upgrade, the FE records the FDO number in the
Service Manual
u
The FE attaches the shipping label in the service Manual
3-3-2 License file failed, or a temporary license file has been shipped (Turnkey system)
u
The FE provides the current FDO number to the ROC, and if applicable all previous FDO
numbers
u The FE provides the MAC address to the ROC
u Within 1 hour, the ROC sends a e-mail to the FE with the appropriate license file
u If the FE cannot contact anybody from the ROC, the FE sends an e-mail to the contact identified
for their pole (see below), with FDO information and MAC address
3-3-3 The dongle does not work (Software-Only system)

The FE provides the current FDO number to the ROC, and if applicable all previous FDO
numbers
u The FE provides the dongle serial number to the ROC
u Within 1 hour, the ROC sends a e-mail to the FE with the appropriate dongle code
