This job card is used to verify connectivity of the ethernet network connection.
Section 2: Monitoring Commands
Login as administrator to use the following commands:

Ping: connection test
# ping 3.28.75.100 [Return] (IP address)
3.28.75.100 is alive
#
ping 3.28.75.132 [Return] (one’s own address)
3.28.75.132 is alive (Ethernet port test including transceiver.)
IP numbers in text are used for example ONLY . Use IP numbers for your specific network.
u
Arp: get current IP-to-ethernet address translation of connected machines
u netstat -rn
# arp -a [Return] (Use arp -all for more information.)
