10.4 Transducer Maintenance
When the ship is dry-docked remove marine growth from the transducer with fine
sandpaper or a piece of wood.
CAUTION
Do not paint the transducer face.
Loss of sensitivity will result.
Do not use plastic solvents to clean the
transducer.
They can damage the transducer.
10.5 Fuse Replacement
The fuses in the processor unit, transceiver unit and hull unit protect them from
overcurrent and equipment fault. If the power cannot be applied, first check the
fuse in the processor unit and transceiver unit. If the power still cannot be turned
on, have a qualified technician check the fuses in other units.
