While a voice call is ringing ( ) Do the following operations.
When you have set “Notify switchable mode” to “Indication ON”, the caller (the other party) can switch
from a voice call to video-phone call.

During a voice call The other party switches to a video-phone
call.
YES . . . . . Sends the image through your camera to the caller.
NO . . . . . . Sends a pre-installed substitute image to the caller.
p While switching, the message to that effect is displayed and the voice guidance is played back.
p You (receiving end) cannot switch the call to video-phone call.
■ Display for incoming calls
When a caller’s phone number is provided
If the caller’s name, phone number, and image are stored in the Phonebook, the name, phone number, and icon (or image) are displayed.
p If the same phone number is stored with multiple names in the Phonebook, the name that comes first in the search order (see page 119)
is displayed.
p The phone number but not the name is displayed if the party has been stored as a secret data in the Phonebook, or if PIM Lock is
activated.
p For a forwarded call, the forwarder is displayed under the phone number of the caller. (The forwarder’s phone number might not be
displayed in the case of some forwarders.)
p
When you receive a call with the additional phone number for Multi Number, the registered name of the additional phone number is
displayed below the caller. (With a forwarded call, you can press ( ) to switch to display the forwarder.)
When a caller’s phone number is not provided
The reason for no caller ID is displayed. (See page 166)

Call rejection You can disconnect the call without answering.
p You cannot reject calls if you have set “Phone” of “Open phone” to “Answer” and the call is received
with the FOMA phone closed.
Call forwarding You can forward the call to the forwarding destination. (See page 345)
Voice mail You can connect to the Voice Mail Service Center. (See page 343)
