The torch must be adjusted in the center of the coil (Figure 6-25). If not, bend
the coil a small amount. (Note: Do this only with the torch removed).

Dismount the torch and replace the RF Generator as described in section 6.5.5,
page 70.

Replace the RF Generator as per section 6.5.5, page 70.
Use the following procedure to adjust the spacing between winding of the work coils.
This will help ensure consistent ignition of the argon plasma.
1.
Ensure that torch is installed as per section 6.5.4, page 70, the vacuum is
initiated and the water chiller is switched on.
2.
In the instrument setup module, go into the “stepper“ tab (service mode with
password “koala“), and set depth to 13 mm and hit apply.
3.
In the “plasma“ tab, open the water flow solenoid by selecting the water flow
enable box and pressing apply.
4.
Ensure that the “RF power mode“ box is not selected; otherwise un-select the
box and press apply.
Work coil adjustment
