Assembly of Components

For assembly and installation of the breathing system,
bellows, and absorber system, please refer to 
page 117, "Assembly".

Installing the Breathing Circuit

1 Connect the limbs of the breathing hoses to the Y-

piece and to the ports of the breathing system.

2 Connect the 2.3 L breathing bag to the breathing

hose with a connecting sleeve. Plug the breathing
hose onto the angled connector and hang the
breathing bag on the hook.

3 Fit water trap into its holder.

4 Screw the sample line onto the Y-piece and water

trap.

WARNING !

Only use original gas sample line. Other lines
may change the technical data of the device.

WARNING !

Do not use antistatic or conductive patient
breathing hoses!
They present a risk of burn injuries when used
in combination with HF electrosurgery.

WARNING !

Always install parts that have been cleaned
and disinfected!
